LAGA FLAMENCO is a program of LAGA Online that will help you master the art of the Flamenco guitar, making one of the most exciting types of music in the world your very own! Our instructors have studied with some of the world’s best Flamenco artists, and are eager to share their knowledge with you! We cover the basics: equipment, posture and hand position, then begin teaching you your first Soleares in the very first level. CHILDREN'S GUITAR LESSONS teach children to play the guitar in a way that appeals to their own musical tastes, yet teaches them sound technique and musical knowledge that will last a lifetime. For younger children, we have Suzuki guitar lessons available in both our studios and on live private webcam lessons. We also have classical, acoustic, and rock guitar instruction available for our younger students. Other styles are available upon request.

COMPOSITION, SONGWRITING AND MUSIC THEORY LESSONS provide a deep understanding of fingerboard harmony that is essential to becoming a competent guitarist, composer, or songwriter. In this course, we cover the layout of your guitar's fingerboard. We teach you how to play all of the notes on the fingerboard, how to map major and minor scale forms on the fingerboard, how to train your ear to hear intervals, and how to exploit the power of triads to catapult your musicianship into a higher level. Triad connection drills and progressions help train your hands to move effortlessly across the fingerboard. Our students learn to play by ear, by learning the relationship between sound and structure. When you finish our courses, you can learn to play anything you hear on your guitar.

GUITAR PEDAGOGY COURSES prepare you to teach others how to play the guitar. We help you organize your musical skills and knowledge so that you will be able to develop a style of teaching the guitar that is uniquely your own, yet one which helps you reach out to every student, tailoring your guitar lessons to meet the needs of your students' diverse backgrounds and learning styles. We work with you every step of the way by both e-mail and live, one-on-one video conferencing. Our master guitar teachers begin by boosting your own proficiency on the guitar, then teach you how to sequence skills, how to choose materials, how to plan your lessons and courses, and how to plan real-world assessments that will both challenge and encourage your students. We teach you how to implement what you will learn about the theory of learning into your own teaching practice, so that students will experience demonstrable progress in their musicianship.
