Right-hand Basics, Free Stroke (from LAGA Classical, level 1)

As seen on the video, the right wrist should be in a naturally straight position. The notation for the right-hand fingers is as follows: 'p,' 'i,' 'm,' and 'a,' for the thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers, respectively. The two main ways of plucking the string are the rest stroke and the free stroke. In the free stroke, the finger finishes with a free follow-through after the stroke takes place. Study the full curriculum in our LAGA Classical guitar course.
